I just tried to upgrade 205 weapon once again. I used 20 gold argates and got it +5 once otherwise it failed to +1, +2 and +3 all the time, how is that ****ing possible... I mean like what is the percent to success from +8 to +9 o.o if you can fail to +1 like 3-4 times in a row :/

well just think it from the GM's view, you have alot thing to do, and its more entertaining working towards your Item's , the reason they cost golds is cause its a better currency than CV's and can be used for plenty of thing.

but i guess 5% isnt a good rate i agree but its so everyone earn's everything evenly. So work hard.

Is it? Supposed to be compared to what? I took the argating rates directly from a3 2moons files. So, unless the rates were already tampered with, they're what they're advertised to be.

Let's do some math. Let's say "impossible" is 0%.
0%+18%=18%
With a tali you still have an 18% chance of success so even if it was "impossible" to begin with which makes it impossible to be impossible. In addition, 18% chance away from impossible is a pretty good ways away from impossible. Look at it from a life or death perspective; I'd take 18% chance increase in survival rate from 0% chance any day.

But it's not impossible to begin with. You have a 5% chance of going +9.
5%+18%=23%
With a tali it is 23% which is almost 1 in 4 +8 weapons that will go +9.

In any case, you're not even obligated to farm argates at all. So, if you really don't want to argate, you don't have to. You can spend the majority of the time you would spent argating to merchant and make enough profit to just outright buy your gear from people.

well i have atm 119 golds, and mania owe's me 22. so ill be getting myn soon. argates arnt hard to get really you just need some patience.

I’ve been in crespo > draco > ava > aqua = 2 copper argates.
Well maybe I think some other higher maps dops much more. Am I correct?

yer, such as Ardeca and Fantasy or VIP island.
But you dont need argates until your a high lvl.
i suggest just collect what ever you can since your a low lvl atm, than once your a high lvl start trying to get alot, worry about your lvl before argates
